Evelyn Spradling
June 21, 1917 - June 13, 2013
SAVANNAH – Evelyn Spradling, 95, died Thursday, June 13, 2013, at Hospice House surrounded by her loving family.
A native of West Virginia, she had lived in Savannah since 1965. Mrs. Spradling was a member of the Coastal Cathedral Church of God and devoted her life to the care of others.
Surviving are her children, Carolyn Jackson, and her husband Franklin, of Savannah, with whom she resided, Kenneth James Spradling Julia of Satsuma, FL, William Spradling of Savannah, James Goodyear Donna of Fairfax, VA, and Laura Elaine Messer Marlin of AquaDulce, CA; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her mother, husband, brother, son, and 2 granddaughters.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 – 7 PM at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel, followed by the funeral service at 7:00 PM.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Hospice Savannah for the wonderful care given to Mrs. Spradling and family.
